Chemistry Test

Today i am going to study for a chemistry test that I have been preparing for. I am goin to do goo.

Balancing chemical formulas

Today in class we were taught how to comboned anions and cations. It was fun because we had to have 9 differnt types of elements. I got a 100%.

Type 1 Ionic compounds

When nonmetal elements become anions , their name is changed to end in ide.An ionic compound is made out of cations and anions and their charges add up to zero.

Ions and Elcetrons

We learned that valence electrons are on the putermost shell. Atoms become ions by gaining or losing electtron on the highest energy level to resemble elemnts called nobel gases

Googlr Docs

Today we went on Google docs. WHen we got our information on the Visiable labe we had to graph our data in in a line and pie graph

Visible spectrum

We did a lab today that when u put this tube in the machine you could see the differnt colors of light whrn u turned the dial. The lab was interesting.

E=mc^2

In class today we were watching a moving that had to do with how Albert Einstien got the formula E=mc^2. It was really fun

Periodic Table

In class we lerarned about protons and electrons. We also learned that on the periodic table the number of a elements means the number of electrons on the element. We have also watched vidios on how different types of metals react to water.

Measuring Volume

In Chemistry class i was measuring the volume of a test tube, but i had to put water in the test tube to measure it. I was being dumb and then i put the test tube up to the faucet and the water came rushing out like a water gun. I got my friend paper wet. We have learned h ow to us a scale to measure objects.

Penny Lab

In Chemistry we made a penny turn to gold. The only bad part was that the penny did not actually turn to gold. To start the project we had we had to put the pennies into a substance called Zinc. when we let the pennies sit in the Zinc for a while they were silver. After we heated them up and they turned gold.
